Ofqual rebuttal on TES article

Ofqual would like to state that we fully support DfE's focus on international comparability and are committed to gaining a thorough understanding of how our qualifications compare with others across the world.  Comments published in the press today which  state that Ofqual says the Pisa ranking are not meaningful, are wholly inaccurate. As a regulator it is our duty to look at all available evidence before coming to any conclusions. The comments published are merely a reference to a third party study by King's College London.
